Show Us Your Birthday Parties - Lily's 1st Birthday - Princess Style

Kelly at Kelly's Korner is having a special spotlight on children's birthday parties today on her blog. I absolutely love planning Lily's parties each year. I am already starting to plan her 3rd party and I was so excited to get to blog about her parties.

Her first party was a big one. It was great and went perfect. I always knew I wanted to have her a Princess party because she was our little princess.

We ordered her party supplies from Birthday Express and picked up coordination decoration at several party supply stores in our area. This was Lily's invitation. (You can click it to see larger.

I made these myself and thought they turned out cute!

I borrowed a huge tent from the company I work for and we went wild with lots of balloons and decorations.

Here is the cake and some of the desserts that I served. I loved, loved, loved her cakes. I had found a picture online and a local lady made them. They were wonderful!

The birthday girl and her cake. I found a dress with a 1 on it that match perfectly.

One of the food tables, the gift table, and the favor table. (I did crowns for the girls and swords for the boys. I also made personalized Hershey square wrappers for bite sized candies.)
It was very windy so the tablesclothes did not want to behave.

There was so many details that I am leaving out, but this is a taste of the great party that was Lily's 1st Birthday. We had over 50 guests and it was a wonderful day!

Watch next for Lily's 2nd Birthday to be added soon.

We are so much alike. I use Birthday Express too. We have had a butterfly, Backyardigans, and now princess party. It was really fun planning it. Your decorations are so pretty. The cake looked awesome. I loved her outfit!
