We have had Lily's little pink potty for a couple of months now, and it been sat on for several occasions when she says that she needs to "pee-pee" but never has there been any successful attempts.
My mom, who keeps Lily on Monday and Tuesday, bought a potty for Lily for her house, and on Monday morning, I got a call! Lily had "pee-peed" in the potty! She said that Lily got up from her nap and not being wet, she asked her if she needed to go. She said that Lily was so excited about actually doing something in her potty! When mama called, I was both happy and sad. I missed her first potty experience, but my mama got a pic, still not the same..but I suppose there are things I am going to miss regardless of how hard I try.
This morning when Lily woke up, we asked her if she needed to use the potty and we had another successful potty experience! I took my own pics and was so excited as was Lily. I will post one below.

I don't think she's exactly sure yet when she has to potty or when she gets the urge so we aren't doing any heavy potting training quite yet, but I think eventually she should get the hang of when she needs to go and it shouldn't be long before my baby is not wearing diapers anymore :(
Below are some pics I had made at Sear's over the weekend. She did really good until she decided to want to play with all of the props instead of posing with them. She thought she was in a new toy heaven, so things got a bit challenging but not too bad!

I've GOT to buy Jancie a potty ASAP. She always points to the potty and says tee-tee. I've put her on the big potty, which she doesn't like.
I've just been taking my dear sweet time about it. I really don't think that she is truly ready, but I think that she will go occasionally.
Love the new pics. I've got to get some new ones of Jancie made.
Also, I scheduled a Kelly Kid's show on Aug 14 from 4-6. What time do you get off work? You can just come when you can. The rep mailed the packet today, so I'll let you know when I get it. I've started getting my addresses together. Have you looked at Kellyskids.com?? I have 2 outfits picked out that I really want for Jancie. If I can get 1 paid for, then I'm happy!!
It's an order-writing show.
Also, I'm going to talk to the Orient Expressed rep today to schedule that show. I wish that Marcus' office was big enough so I could do both shows at 1 time, but I just don't think it's possible.
