We've been struck with the terrible illness called the virus for the last 6 days. Last Friday at 5 am, Lily woke up throwing up. She had never done this before so it scared us. I stayed home with her and she was so pitiful. She didn't let it slow her down, and we were able to get some medicine for her from her doctor, which was a miracle drug. It stopped her symptoms immediately and she was on the mend by Friday afternoon.
On Saturday, we stayed busy in our yard putting out mulch and we bought Lily a small 3 ft pool from Wal-Mart, so we worked on filling it with water. I was anxious about getting it because it isn't very appealing in the yard, but we managed to hide it directly behind our house so it isn't too distracting. (Lily absolutely loves it by the way, she just laughs!) I will add pics of her in it soon.
BJ and I were struck on Sunday with the virus first thing that morning. I was in bed all day..I was just so nauseated and feeling the worst ever...BJ wasn't as bad..thank goodness because he was able to take care of Lily. We were so disappointed though because we didn't get to go see our mom's and I didn't get to go to church. I didn't feel any better until 10 pm on Sunday night.
On Monday, we went to work, but still feeling rough and yesterday, I had to leave work at noon and go home and lay down. I am back at work today, BJ stayed home because he was feeling rough..I feel much, much better, Lily is better, and BJ is on the mend, so maybe we can get rid of this awful visitor to our home.
I am posting some pics below of Lily from Saturday. BJ's aunt and uncle have beautiful flower gardens so we took some pics over there late that afternoon.
